The highlight of our SPA is that we are the only reserve to have a sauna overlooking the Lower Zambezi with a private splash pool to cool off in and enjoy the views. We provide all our SPA treatments in the privacy of your own room as well as at the main SPA center. Mukalya is fortunate to be one of the only reserves in Zambia located nearby to Sulfur-rich hot springs that have natural healing benefits to skin irritations & infections, arthritic pain, menopausal symptoms and digestive disorders. Treatments & Sauna
Mukalya offers all SPA treatments and therapies in the privacy of your own room or we can arrange to set up a tailor bush spa treatment for you in the reserve or at the Sulfur-rich hot springs at an additional expense. Please have a look at our SPA Menu for more details. The standard hours of the sauna at Mukalya are in the mornings at 06:30 - 08:30 AM and in the evenings at 06:30 - 08:30 PM. However, if you would like to use the sauna out of the standard times we suggest you contact us a four hours in advance to be arranged at an additional cost.
